When to use it

Use this when installing Officer Scribe for a new guild or handing setup to another officer.

Workflow

How to use Getting started

  1. 01
    Install the Discord bot

Use Add to Discord, choose the guild you manage and complete Discord authorisation.

  2. 02
    Open the workspace

Sign in with Discord, choose the server and open Setup. The health checklist shows what still needs attention.

  3. 03
    Map leadership and roster roles

Choose the Discord roles that represent leadership and the Trial/Raider population Officer Scribe should track.

  4. 04
Connect only the integrations you use

Configure Warcraft Logs, WoWAudit or WoWUtils where they support your actual guild workflow.

  5. 05
Confirm raid schedule and player identity

Set recurring raid nights and make sure active raiders have the correct primary character before using readiness or log analysis.

  6. 06
    Run a test workflow

Create a roster, record a test absence and open Raid Review before the first live raid so permissions can be corrected without pressure.

Context

Things to know

  • Discord permissions are the main access boundary; seeing a workspace does not automatically grant edit access.
  • The setup checklist is designed to be revisited after role or integration changes.
  • You do not need every integration enabled for Officer Scribe to be useful.
